General Hints

  • Check that you satisfy the assumed knowledge and prerequisites for any courses you plan to take.
  • Preparing a timetable plan for both semesters will save you time. The easiest way to do this is to use the Course Planner so that you can schedule your studies. Note your lecture details as these times will not change. Then note a couple of suitable tutorial details for each course.
  • Enrol as early as possible to secure your preferred classes, as enrolments are on a first-in basis.

How do I receive credit (advance standing) for courses completed at another tertiary institution?

You should contact the Student Adviser in the first instance to determine your eligibility.  You will need to complete an application for transfer credit and attach a copy of your transcript (original or certified copy) and the detailed course outline of the relevant courses. Application forms for Transfer credit are available from the School Office.
